DESTINATION

Masai Mara National Reserve, Kenya

It is a wonder to see first-hand the red-robed Maasai coexisting with the large game of Africa. The Masai Mara offers a wide array of camps and lodges, ranging from colonial “Out of Africa” style to modern Maasai. Hot air balloons soar into the vast skies above this tribal land, and from July to September, you will witness thousands of animals migrating from the Serengeti. The Big Five is almost always a game drive away.

Mara Plains

Rarely a night passes at this tented camp, without lions roaring while you sit around the campfire. Leopards regularly wander through camp, and cheetahs claim the savanna. The migration brings a time of plenty for all these predators!
