Nairobi, Kenya

Historic Nairobi is definitely worth more than just a night. Visit orphaned elephants and rhinos rescued by the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust. Hand-feed a giraffe at The Giraffe Center. And you shouldn’t miss the Karen Blixen Museum or the African curio markets!

DESTINATION

Masai Mara National Reserve, Kenya  

It is a wonder to see first-hand the red-robed Maasai coexisting with the large game of Africa. The Masai Mara offers a wide array of camps and lodges, ranging from colonial “Out of Africa” style to modern Maasai. Hot air balloons soar into the vast skies above this tribal land, and from July to September, you will witness thousands of animals migrating from the Serengeti. The Big Five is almost always a game drive away.
