Samburu National Reserve

The Samburu people are a dominant feature of Kenya’s northern frontier country with astonishing color, sporting scarlet robes, and an abundance of beaded necklaces and head-jewelry. You’ll find some endemic and funny-looking animals in Samburu National Park, like gerenuk ‘giraffe-necked antelope’, Grevy's zebras, whose stripes don’t go all the way around, and perfectly patterned reticulated giraffes.
