Tarangire National Park

Africa’s best-kept secret! This park on Tanzania’s northern safari circuit sports red elephants (from the rust-colored earth) and ‘upside-down’ baobab trees. Ancient migration corridors merge through Tarangire, which heightens the number of elephants, buffaloes, wildebeests, elands, zebras, hartebeests, and oryx. The wet season brings blooms of wildflowers, mists of butterflies, baby animals, and birds with full plumage on display.
