Etosha National Park East

Heat-haze mirages rise up from Etosha’s vast salt pans, where a menagerie of wildlife stand about: herds of oryx antelopes, ostriches, giraffes, and elephants. The seasonal rains feed the freshwater springs, creating a haven for wildlife large and small. Lilac-breasted rollers swoop by, and swarms of starlings weave in and out of the brush. This is prime waterhole watching!
