Kunene River

Along a lush strip of an otherwise desert landscape, the Kunene River divides the countries of Namibia and Angola. The proud Himba people inhabit this desert landscape, and because of their relative seclusion, they have maintained much of their traditional lifestyle. Yet they welcome travelers into their huts to get a rare glimpse of their semi-nomadic culture.
